Rhinoplasty Case 4

This patient came to see me regarding a rhinoplasty because he felt that his nose was too large. He works in the entertainment business and was concerned about how he appeared on stage. Dr. Barker performed an in depth facial analysis in regard to his facial proportions. Even though he felt that his nose was too large, a major contributing factor was a small chin. A small chin will tend to make a nose look even larger than it actually is. After a discussion of the options and looking at simulation before and after photos, he was ready to proceed with both the rhinoplasty with hump reduction as well as a large chin implant. The photos below demonstrate how the chin and nose work together to create more facial harmony. These photos were taken about a 2 months after his operation.
